Withdrawal Procedure

 

Refunds

If written notification of withdrawal is submitted to INCC before the regular deadlines, the payee will receive a refund of the exam fee, less a $50 processing fee. No refunds can be issued after this date.

Note: INS membership fees are nonrefundable.

Withdrawal after Regular Deadline

After regular deadlines, applicants can transfer their exam application. A Transfer Request Form and $50 administrative fee must be received before March 1 to transfer from a March exam, and September 1 to transfer from a September exam.

To complete the transfer process, another complete exam application for the preferred administration must be submitted to INCC, along with any increases in exam fees, prior to regular application deadlines. Transfers are valid for one year from the original exam administration. Transfers are offered once only. Refunds are not permitted.

Substitutions

An alternative candidate may be substituted if the original candidate is unable to sit the exam. A $50 administration fee will be charged, in addition to the $50 transfer fee (if applicable).
